1. Find scrapbook paper and make BSF cover (Life of Moses)...DONE (but I am hanging my head as I forgot to take a picture...I will post that this evening). I finally made it to my local scrapbook store and man oh man...the paper there is beautiful. The kids were able to help me cut out the letters using my Cricut. Now I just have to make a cover for my notes from Matthew, John and this year's Isaiah.
2. Clean out school bin in kitchen...DONE. I threw away a ton of paper and now there is more order to the bin. Now it looks like this again. I do find that this is a good system to have...everything in one place.
3. Buy school supplies...DONE...for the most part. Some of the supplies on the list are teacher-specific, and don't get me started on how I don't know who Jamison's teacher is yet...sigh. As soon as we find who her teacher is we will be able to complete the list.
4. Continue typing out recipes for recipe binder...DONE. I , again, forgot to take pictures of what I'm doing (maybe this needs to be its own list item...taking pictures). I also found some really cute scrapbook paper that I'm going to use for the cover and maybe for the dividers too.
5. Clean laundry area...FAIL. I haven't found the contact paper I want to use on the shelf yet. I'm going to make a trip to Lowes this weekend (even though, of the two, Home Depot is my favorite, but sometimes Lowes has "cuter" stuff...Home Depot has the BEST customer service!).
This Week's To Do List
1. Take more pictures. I didn't even have a WW this week because I haven't taken any pictures...sigh.
2. Work on cards for upcoming craft fair. I need to find some layouts to use so that I can have a variety of styles.
3. Clean laundry area.
4. Clean out van and restock car bin items.
5. Continue typing recipes for recipe binder.

Have I mentioned how much I love your school bin idea?? It's awesome!
You made quite a dent on last week's list! Awesome!
LOL! We prefer Lowe's to Home Depot here. Hee hee. :oP
At my school, we had grade-level supply lists, thereby avoiding the "well OUR teacher says we have to have..." all within one grade. Good luck with that. :oS
I found some SUPER cute paper at Target the other day. We used it for Henry's first school project and it turned out so cute! I think I might have trouble in a scrapbook store:) You are so right about Lowe's and HD!! Lowes usually has better stuff but the people at HD are much more helpful. I was really bad about taking pics this week too...I thinki it is because we have been so busy with school starting.
Way to get things done! It was a great week!
Your list sound like a good idea....I did clean my laundry room out this past Saturday. Let me try a list and see how well I do...I think I will hook up with you next week on the list thing...I really need to start making things better and junk free in my home.
You are a super busy momma! Great job getting it done. I just wish I could focus on one task at a time. Being home all day I get side tracked :)
Great job this week. I can't wait to see your recipe binder when it is done. I should type out some of my recipes so that the kiddos will be able to read them in years to come. We are hoping to buy the school supplies this weekend.
Have a great day!
I am usually an insanely neat and organized person and organizing things is like Christmas to me...except with it comes to my laundry room! I just can't seem to get that room to work for me which drives me batty! Maybe seeing it on your list will give me the motivation to add it back to mine!
i have to restock our car bins too and get my van detailed. Good luck this week. Great list.
You make me want to lay down and take a nap!
xoxo
