It's Almost Valentine's Day....

And I have nothing to craft!

Valentine's Day is by far, my absolute, most favorite, most exciting holiday!!! I can't stress enough how much I love it. Anyways, remember my list? Well, on it I mentioned about wanting to do holiday crafts. So, what better holiday for me to start with than Valentine's Day.

With that said, I'm calling all of you crafty people to help me think of a fun craft to do with Jamison (and Caleb). I'm thinking of a Valentine's garland or something to hang on our front door. Or even if you know of a good website to go on.

I'm left-handed so I should be more creative, but that must have missed me on the assembly line :)

HELP!

Hi again!
I went to the Family Fun website and they have a lot of ideas that you can do with the kids. Here's the link:
http://familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts/season/minisite/valentines-main-ms/

Just copy and paste it in...they have a ton of exciting things to do!

Oh and I just thought of another thing that they could make for decoration or for their dad. You can put washable ink or paint on the hands and two upside down handprints can form a heart! That would make a cute little card or poster for decoration. They can even do several at once and would make great gifts for grandparents and relatives!

Yeah, the Family Fun site is awesome. If you don't already have a subscription to the magazine, ask for one. I tear out all the great pages and put them in various holiday binders. I have a binder for each holiday and put ideas in it as the years go by. Happy crafting!!!

I agree "Family Fun" is a must have magazine! And what's cool is it will be fun for both your children! I also tear things out. I have them filed right now but plan to put them in holiday binders as well!

Hi Kelly, there are lots of great craft ideas on two blogs that I read daily; Skip to My Lou and Makes and Takes. We're actually doing homemade Valentines for my younger kids' classes this year, a first. Have fun and good luck!

I am NOT crafty. I don't like doing crafts and I am not good at them. But I am going to do this idea over my kitchen sink.

I love Valentines Day.

We made a really easy heart garland out of pipe cleaners this year. Oh, and also I saw where someone took some heart shaped doilies (from dollar general) and strung ribbon thru them for a garland. That would be really easy and so pretty. :) Good luck!
