My 2010 WORD

I decided to participate in the word of the year again this year. You can see my word from last year here.

I put a lot of thought into my word and I also decided that I wanted it to relate in some way to last year's word, MOVE. So, here it is:

FOCUS

I chose FOCUS because that is exactly what I need to do in order to get things done...you know, MOVE. I need to FOCUS on what it is I need & want to do in order to make sure that it is carried out. For example, I've been wanting to spruce up the kids' bathroom but I have not been focused on it (you'll notice that I talk about the kids' bathroom in last year's word post!). Now, it is a FOCUS, so I will see that it gets done.

I need to FOCUS on GOD.

I need to FOCUS on my husband and my children, giving them the attention and love they deserve.

I need to FOCUS on my home and make it a place of comfort and joy.

I need to FOCUS on weight loss.

I need to FOCUS on improving my card making skills and on learning how to sew.
I need to FOCUS on my 101 in 1001.

...not FOCUS

FOCUS!

Such a simple word with a lot of impact! It's so hard for me to focus on one thing at a time! Sounds like an awesome word and I'm sure you'll get so much accomplished with it!
