Thanking God on Friday

** I am thankful for a smooth morning on the first day of First Grade. Jamison was up bright and early, ready for her first day. It is such a joy to see her enthusiasm about school and I pray that it continues.

Here's my baby...oops, first grader, with her Life cereal. That was her request for breakfast.

My first grader!

Here she is walking to the bus stop with Caden, our neighbor. Caden is going to Kindergarten.

On the bus and no looking back!

** I am thankful for Rondell asking me "is there anything you need me to do?" yesterday when I was focused on getting everything ready for today. That meant the world to me.

** I am thankful that our Small Group is getting together tomorrow for a fellowship.

** I am thankful that BSF is getting ready to start soon. My discussion leader called me this week! I can't wait. We are studying the book of John this year.

Love the back to school photos.
I always love when Donnie helps out around the house and when he is asking to help me. My love language is service so that shows how important it is to me.
Have a great weekend.

1st grade...wow! I bet that was an exciting time for her. I love that you let HER choose her 1st day back to school breakfast. Cute!! You are always so good about recognizing things that you are thankful for. Very inspiring.

Awww, she's so darn cute. Those photos are absolute keepers!

As a first grade teacher (our kids start on Monday), I love your enthusiasm. Wish I had Jamison in my class. ;)

She is so beautiful! I love that her breakfast request was simple and that she walked the little Kindergartener to the bus stop. What a sweetheart!
