Two Peas in a Pod

UPDATED: Well, it's 10:12 pm and Hannah just left. She was just a bit homesick and decided that she would rather be at home. I called her parents and since they were already out they came by to pick her up...and Jamison went with them! Too funny. Jamison will be home in the morning.

Jamison's very best friend in the whole wide world, Hannah, is spending the night with us tonight. Jamison and Hannah were in the same Kindergarten class and bonded pretty quickly. They have been asking me to have a sleep over for months and I finally gave in.

Jamison and Hannah

Here they are watching a Backyardigans DVD. Notice Caleb is not too far away from the girls. It was hard trying to keep him out of the middle.

Here are the girls set up in the tent watching another movie. They said it's like a campout.

So far it seems like they are both having a good time...whew!

Probably until my daughter was in 5th grade she could not sleep at her friend's homes. She always got homesick. We always would do late nights that way she could still be with her friends until 10:30ish. She would have more fun b/c she knew she was coming home.

Aw...I'm glad she tried it..and it's nice that her mom let Jamison stay at their house so they could still have their sleepover! Emily can be that way...she stays with Dan's mom alot and she's had one sleepover with a friend, and she always tells me she misses me! I miss her too! But they are still little...just wait until the real slumber parties! aaah! haha!

Super cute pictures! THey look like great friends!

I love the little tent, it is so cute.
I totally feel Hannah's home sickness. I never liked to spend the night at other people's house because I always missed my mom. Now that I am grown I still don't like to be away from home for long.
Have a great weekend.

Sounds like fun even though she left early. I remember leaving a couple of sleepovers when I was that young.

Sleepovers are the greatest! Poor Hannah, but how wonderful that Jamison got to follow along to her house!
