Thanking God on Friday

** I am thankful that I found this blog. As some of you know, I have no idea how to sew, but I want to learn and my mom recently bought me a sewing machine for Christmas (side note: I was so sad yesterday because my sewing class was cancelled due to weather). Well I stumbled up this blog and I LOVE it. She gives such great, detailed tutorials for people who are starting out (it's like it was written for me...and about 3600 other people!). I look forward to reading more on her blog and becoming one with my sewing machine.

** I am thankful for the teach skills that God has given our Small Group leaders. Through them God is really teaching me wonderful fundamentals that will greatly affect my walk with Christ. They are also very patient (I have a lot of questions!).

** I am thankful that it is Friday and that I'm going home to relax with my babies.

** I am thankful that my friend Tonya is having a Stampin Up! workshop tonight. It's been a while since I've been to one and I'm looking forward to doing some crafting...my wallet is not looking forward to my order, however.

Thanks for sharing that blog - it is my goal to learn how to sew this year as well. My mom is an amazing seamstress so I usually just let her do everything I need but I really do need to learn how to do it myself! Happy weekend to you!

Oh! I love it when people find great blogs and share! Thanks for the link to the sewing blog. I'll put her link on my blog.

Enjoy your weekend with your babies. Stay warm! I keep looking out our window for snow flurries, but the chances are low. I can wish can't I? =)

Thanks for sharing the link. What a great blog! I've been sewing for as long as I can remember, but I'm always looking for new project ideas.

Have fun with your new sewing machine. It will bring you so much enjoyment.

I wish I had a sewing machine too! I keep thinking that I am going to do all these things with it..LOL. I took the first step at church today. It was as if my husband and God were reading my mind. We met the pastors and will be heading to a Beginners meeting soon. I just had to share.
