What's For Dinner Thursday - Evening Edition

I'm a little later than I wanted to be, but here's what we had for dinner this evening: Taco Ring. I mainly got this recipe from my Pampered Chef recipe book. Their recipe calls for brushing the ring with egg whites, but I never do that.

You will need:

1 lb of hamburger
Taco season
2 tbs of water
Shredded cheese of your choice (about a cup and I used Mild Cheddar and Monterrey Jack)
2 cans of crescent rolls

Brown meat and drain.
Add season and water.
Arrange crescent rolls in a ring. I meant to take of picture of this and forgot. Basically it will look like a sun.
Add meat around ring.
Top with cheese.

Bake at 375 for 15 or 20 minutes (till it's brown to your liking...I don't like my food overly browned).
Eat with salsa, sour cream or guacamole.

Here's what my ring looked like before going into the oven.

The finished product (thanks Ron for taking the picture). Looks similar to my chicken club wrap
(if you click you can see what the crescent rolls look like before adding the meat).

What are you having for dinner? Stop by Joanna's and see more meals.
