What 5 of your favorite toys from your childhood were?
1. Cabbage Patch Kids - I still remember coming home and seeing my first CPK sitting on the couch in her cute yellow dress. My daddy surprised me.
2. Barbie - I would play for HOURS!!!! I will say that my favorite was Skipper because she was more like my age.
3. Atari/Nintendo - Nothing beats Pitfall, Frogger, and the original Super Mario Brothers.
4. Coloring - My mom and I would color all the time. I still love to color with Jamison. It's so relaxing and we had/have the best conversations while coloring.
5. Little People - Back in the day when they didn't have arms.

I LOVE to color and Im 32 years old! You can never be too old to enjoy coloring. My boys love it too.
I loved Cabbage Patch kids too, I had one named Cory that went everywhere with me. Thanks for sharing with us!
I used to love those charm bracelets where you'd collect the different charms and they all did something. Can't find them anywhere now!
Great list!! Forgot all about coloring!!!

The original Super Mario Bros was the BOMB!! I never beat it as a kid so when my kids got a DS I spent a couple of weeks of my life saving that darn princess. I am proud to say that I made it to end. :)
Super cute blog!
I use to love coloring ALL the time too! I still do! :)
I loved all the same toys! I am still madly in love with CPK's. The girls get one every year for Christmas since they started making them again.

Atari was one of my favorite things as a kid too. The games I loved to play were Pac-Man and Pong and some kangaroo game that I can't remember the name of. Coloring is soooo relaxing. I love it when Isaiah wants a new coloring book. It's one of my favorite things to do with him. CPKs were awesome! Great list!
Hope you have a wonderful week!
I still love to color too!!! Sometimes I beg the kids to color, just so I have a reason to sit down and color in a coloring book. Too fun!

I so wanted a REAL cabbage patch doll! My mom refused to buy one, which is weird when you consider how me and my brother are adopted. You'd think she'd want to use them as a jumping off point about that! I had to handmade cabbage patch dolls, which were made with love and therefore much better according to her. One was made by my Godmother and looked pretty close but yet still so not a real one! Now I can totally appreciate them but back in the day, I was so annoyed to be the only girl in America without one!
Love the Little People too, we had a Seasame Street one and Brad had a castle. Both our parents hung on to them and now ER plays with them. I saw this little jump roper thing a ma jigg that we have go on Ebay for like fifty bucks, I was shocked.
I totally agree with you on loving cabbage patch dolls. My lovely mother even made me clothes for my doll that would match my clothes.
Great list!
