The Simple Woman's Daybook - September 7, 2009

For today...

Outside my window...cloudy and cool. The temperatures are supposed to be the same as last week but we're supposed to have rain instead of sun.

I am thinking...about what kind of system I should have for my bills and important papers. I've seen things like having a binder, a bin and even a filing cabinet.

I am thankful...that Rondell and I worked hard and pretty much finished the basement organization project (pictures to come tomorrow). It was a lot of work but so worth every minute.

From the kitchen...I have no clue. I have not done meal planning this week.

I am reading...Daniel. We are on chapter 5...in the lions den.

I am praying...to better understand how to explain things to my children. I am really trying to use the tools from Shepherding a Child's Heart, but at times it can be challenging to get inside those little heads.

I am creating...a few things like, finishing Jamison's invitations (I'll take pictures when I'm done), a craft binder to hold my ideas, hopes and dreams, and a system for Jamison's school papers.

Around the house...there are things that need to be put away that we brought up from the basement.

One of my favorite things...Caleb talking. He is really expanding his vocabulary and it is a joy to hear.

A few plans for the rest of the week...not a lot, which is nice. Thursday I might go to the PTA meeting and then Friday I'm going to a Stampin Up! workshop.
