Then it hit me that I could do the same thing for less...and the pizza party at Casa de la Kelli was born. We're going to have the kids make their own pizzas and play pin the pepperoni on the pizza. It should be a great time...I'll keep you posted.
Here's what I did:
I went to my Stampin Up! demo's house (hi Lisa) and used a stamp set of hers to stamp out Pizza Party. I love the fact that the letters aren't perfect since it's a child's party. I also used my Cricut to make a curved square.
I also used Lisa's Big Shot (a Stampin Up! tool) to make this shape for the information on the inside. I ended up just writing the information...you know, when, where, time, etc.
Lisa came up with the idea to cut out a piece of pizza (I'm telling you she inspires me!). I stuck the pizza on the invite using raised adhesive so the pizza stood out. Here's the finished product! I'm very happy with it and Jamison was very excited to help me put it all together.
I'm also including this on Kimba's DIY...see others here.

This is such a fun invite, you did a great job. All of Jamison's friends will be so excited to get it in the mail. I am glad to see you got to use your Cricut with it.
this is going to be a fun party - my daughter just went to a party last month that seems very similar and she loved it!!
My kids used to love making thier own mini pizzas on Engllish muffins. It was a lot of fun for my daughter's 7th birthday.
What a fun party that's going to be?! Love the invites!!!!
Her invites are SO ADORABLE!! I love the idea of just having your own "chef" party, sounds like so much fun! Can't wait to hear all about it. =)
Those invites are too cute! I really like the font that you used for the front!
They look great!!! We can't wait for the party!
So cute Kelli! Do you mind me asking which Cricut you got. My b-day is next week and I want a cricut but I'm so confused with the different kinds they have. Do I want the Expression, the Cricut Create or the personal cutter? I'm so confused....they are all such different prices and I can't figure out what's so different about them. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!!
These look great! I'm so jealous! I'll probably end up buying Noah's invites from Wal-Mart. They look fabulous! Good job!
Those are so cute! What a fun idea for a party too!
Go girl! I love it! It sounded like a lot of fun before, but it will be so special that it is all done by Mom. Post pics after the party. Your stuff looks professional!
SICK! You are so stinkin' creative. Can you make Avonlea's invitations? =) When is Jamison's birthday? Avy's is this month too.
That is so stinkin' cute!! I would have never thought to make anything so adorable for pizza parties! You could sell those things!
I love the invitations! My Cricut Expression is so much fun to use, and it's so cool to see you utilizing it too. And the stamps are amazing.
When are you going to start selling so I can buy some? :) Until then, I might even have to find someone here.
I've been making ice cream cones with my Cricut lately, among other things. And now I'm thinking I should have an ice cream party so I can make some invitations too.
You have just inspired me to go into my scrapbooking room...I spend a lot of time in there. ;)
Those invites are so cute! The party sounds like it will be a blast!
