This morning I finished reading 1 Samuel, and let me tell you...there's some drama in there. There's war, jealousy, friendship bond, betrayal...all the things you need in a suspenseful reading. I found myself talking out loud, skipping to see what happens next and of course learning some lessons along the way.
One verse that I really liked:
"...The Lord doesn't see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

The Bible is just full of good stories! It's amazing! I love the Old Testament.
Hope you have a great day!!!
We studied Samuel in Sunday School for a couple of months and it was just like a soap opera going on in the biblical days. Drama has always went on ever since the beginning of time.
There are some great/interesting stories in the Bible.
What a great challenge. That is also a super verse, that we all need to hear daily!
Have a great Wednesday!
Great verse! My favorite old testament book is Daniel.
