Outside my window...partly sunny. We're supposed to get rain this week so the clouds are moving in. I don't care if it rains all week long as long as it's sunny for my staycation!
I am thinking...about my staycation. I need to make a list of things that I would like to get done...painting, laying by the pool, yard work...
I am thankful for...a beautiful weekend. The weather was just gorgeous this weekend and we soaked up every minute. We ran errands, I got some little things done around the house, we went to the pool and a birthday party, I got some yard work done and we had hot dogs on the grill.
From the kitchen...low key items. We are having tacos, burgers on the grill (of course), and for tonight...Kraft Cheese and Macaroni!
I am reading...nothing at the moment because I finished 7th Heaven, good read! I have to pick up a book tonight that I have on reserve by Ridely Pearson, thanks to Becca.
I am hoping...for nice weather on vacation. I would like to do a lot of outdoor activities and I need nice weather for that.
I am creating...I am doing Caleb's life verse hanging this week. Jamison and I are heading to Hobby Lobby for paint for the project that she made with Rondell this weekend and I am going to pick up the paper and things I need for his hanging.
I am praying...for obedience in a few areas.
Around the house...things are getting cleaned out. I cleaned out a lot in Caleb's room this weekend, including winter clothes. I cleaned out the fridge and freezer too, now I just have to go to the store. I also cleaned out another flower bed (I'll show you pictures tomorrow).
One of my favorite things...Rondell now being home on Sundays!
A few plans for the week...Tomorrow we have a meeting at Jamison's school for the parents of students going into first grade (FIRST GRADE!!!), Hobby Lobby trip, painting some sample colors for our master bathroom (we are going with a green color), and getting ready for Staycation 2009!
Leaving you with this picture:
This picture has so many things that I love (I saw it on another blog)...sunflowers in a clear vase, a window (I love open windows), bright colors, notebooks...it makes me happy! Happy Monday!
