I Finally Did It

I finally made this recipe...apple dumplings. Ever since I saw this on Pioneer Woman's website and knew I had to make it. All I needed was some crescent rolls, some apples, some butter and sugar and a can of Mountain Dew...yes, Mountain Dew.

You have to make this...it's super easy. This is how mine turned out (notice my helper's head):

I would have given you a step by step but you should go to the site linked above to Pioneer Woman because she gives GREAT instruction and she's funny too.

We just added some ice cream and enjoyed...YUM!

Have a blessed day!

Yay! I was glad to see that you can finally open my blog! I saw your comment one someone else's blog. It must be that my blog is made on a mac and is different than a Blogspot blog? I often have people email me to tell me they can't comment too :(((.

But I am glad to "meet" you and have enjoyed reading your blog.

I love this recipe, it's one of my favorites and oh so good! There is a similar recipe that calls for orange juice instead of mountain dew, but it's not as good! I still need to give you my roast recipe. I will next time I make it. Right now we are remodeling the kitchen and I have no stove, so I don't know how long it'll be!

I have made that before and I LOVE it. I love stuff made with butter. I must have a different recipe though too, because mine doesn't call for Mountain Dew either.
