I finally made this recipe...appledumplings. Ever since I saw this on Pioneer Woman's website and knew I had to make it. All I needed was some crescent rolls, some apples, some butter and sugar and a can of Mountain Dew...yes, Mountain Dew.
You have to make this...it's super easy. This is how mine turned out (notice my helper's head):
I would have given you a step by step but you should go to the site linked above to Pioneer Woman because she gives GREAT instruction and she's funny too.
Yay! I was glad to see that you can finally open my blog! I saw your comment one someone else's blog. It must be that my blog is made on a mac and is different than a Blogspot blog? I often have people email me to tell me they can't comment too :(((.
But I am glad to "meet" you and have enjoyed reading your blog.
I love this recipe, it's one of my favorites and oh so good! There is a similar recipe that calls for orange juice instead of mountain dew, but it's not as good! I still need to give you my roast recipe. I will next time I make it. Right now we are remodeling the kitchen and I have no stove, so I don't know how long it'll be!
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a sweet comment :)
Your family is adorable too! This recipe looks so good! I am definitely going to try this...I think even I can make this..hee hee! I wish I would've had this for my MOPS brunch this morning! Have a great day! Carrie :) Martin Manor
I have made that before and I LOVE it. I love stuff made with butter. I must have a different recipe though too, because mine doesn't call for Mountain Dew either.
Hey Girl....finally catching up on my blog reading after a busy week!! Let me tell you...those apple dumplings look DELISH!!!! My mouth is watering!! Ha!
