1. Help in the yard (yeah, I am SO creative with my titles). Rondell has been taking on the major task of cleaning up the leaves in our yard. Yesterday Caleb decided to help dad out and I am sure Rondell had no problem accepting the assistance. I think Caleb enjoyed it too (check back with me when he's 15):
2. The Year of the 5. 15 days from now I turn 35. My grandmother always talked about how all of her grandchildren are 5 years apart. And if it was what my cousin and I call "The Year of the 5" she would be extra excited. So, this is one of those years and it makes me think of & miss my Granita and makes me grateful to her...that she cherished something so simple about her grandchildren. And we absolutely cherish her.
3. Welcome :) Rondell makes fun of me because a lot of my Fall decor says "Welcome."
He may or may not be onto something :)

it's always fun to peek into your neck of the woods
:)
Caleb looks like he is having a blast with that leaf blower:) My boys love to help outside too...but I wonder how long it will last! Have a great week Kelli!
I think the "welcome" thing just goes to show how open and welcoming you are. You invite everyone in. :o)
I'm laughing at your little guy with the leaf blower--how delighted he looks!
I'll be 35 about 16 days after you--I think I got my math right. Year of the 5s. I like it. Your Granita was one special lady. :o)
Happy almost Birthday! :) And you know, you're a very warm, welcoming kind of gal. It's no wonder all of your decor states that! :)
Why wouldn't you say "Welcome"...? That's how you roll. :)
Love Caleb's little smile, but Kelli!!!! Look at that fabulous branch on the ground!!! Get it, spray paint it gold and hang Welcome from that!!!
Girl, to that I say... at least Rondell notices :)
Caleb looks thrilled to be helping!! And you are right he won't be quite so thrilled when he is fifteen unless maybe he's helping out around the house before a girl comes over...
Aww. Your Granita sounds like she was very special.
Oh, Kelli. You are a welcoming person. The welcome signs don't surprise me at all!!
i like your decor! and i must admit that it is kind of fun and funny that it all says welcome. : ) i love it, though!!! ha!
hey, i got so tired of trying to be creative with titles so i quit them altogether. ; )
it's so cute how he enjoyed doing big boy stuff in the yard.
I love when the kids are helpful! I agree...I don't think it will last :-) But I think the leaf blower will always be fun!
I love your decorations...you are very 'welcoming' ha! he is very observant! I don't Dan would even notice that around here! ;-)
