~ I am thankful that my children have grandparents that they are very close with and talk to regularly. Grandparents who bring them treats like peppermints and popcorn, take them for pizza and to the library, give them lots of hugs and kisses, and who they think are fantastic (Jamison wrote that about my dad, her Papa D, at school the other day...that he's fantastic!).
It makes me think of my grandmother, Granita, who I miss dearly, but I'm truly grateful that we were so close and that she was such an important person in my life. She was always interested in what I was doing and she was one of the most thoughtful people I know. I'm thankful that my children are experiencing the same kind of joy that comes from having such wonderful grandparents.
~ I am thankful for Tastefully Simple...have you tried it? It's a company that sells products that makes cooking that much easier. Last night I was able, at the very last minute, to go to a party that my BSF discussion group was having and because I had TS's Fiesta Party Dip Mix handy and I was able to whip up a quick dip and bring it to the party with a bag of chips. It was a hit and it was nice to be able to contribute to the snacks on a whim.
~ I am thankful that my BSF study questions yesterday included Isaiah 25:1...Oh Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure. When I read this the reminder that God is faithful, sure and has already taken care of it, it overwhelms me...whether it is a health issue, or a job problem, or just uncertainty in general. HE has taken care of it already!

Your Friday posts always give me the warm fuzzies:) I love that you take the time to write down all the things you are thankful for...I should that more often:) Have a great weekend Kelli!
Grandparents that are involved are the BEST!
I haven't done Tastefully Simple, but I've been meaning to. Thanks for the rec.
I too read that Bible verse yesterday. He loves us, and as we would take care of *our* children, he takes care of *us*. :o) Beautiful!
Great post! Sorry I have been MIA...haven't much been around that much. trying to get back in the swing of things.
Love and miss my grandparents...so glad my children still have theirs.
Love the scripture...so true...God is with us and will caryy us through anything.
Have a great weekend Kelly!
Great things to be thankful for!! I'm sooooooo thankful for Grandparents too. I'm feeling very blessed this year to still have my Granny. After losing my Grandpa this year, it makes me realize who important every day is with her. Isaiah is lucky enough to have two FANTASTIC sets of Grandparents!
I'll have to check out Tastfully Simple...sounds great!
Those are some great thankfuls!
I only wished we had grandparents like that! The girls don't have a close relationship with Zack's mom at all. And she's the only grandparent in their life. Makes my heart heavy. Just means that Zack and I have to kinda work extra hard to make certain things special for them.
I have heard of TS, but never done it. I may have to check it out!
I love coming over here to see what you're doing. I love coming over here to see pictures of my cute Caleb. I love to hear about Miss J.
But mostly I love to come over here and have God use something you wrote to speak to me. Thank you.
xoxoxo
What a great list my dear... you had me all sentimental about your Grandma and then you drop the Tastefully Simple bomb. Now all I want is beer bread thankyouverymuch.
What a wonderful post. I totally agree about grandparents. We moved back home to Houston when we were trying to get pregnant with Trey as we wanted our kids to have a close relationship with their grandparents.
I am going to have to try the Tastefully Simple. Anything to make cooking easy I am game for.
Have a great day!
