We have been trying to keep ourselves busy during this Winter season. The temps have been unseasonably warm so it has been easier to be out and about...like just yesterday we played outside after school/work!
Here's a look at a few things we have been doing:
Here's a look at a few things we have been doing:
We celebrated this handsome little guy. He had his first real friend party. We have become friends with a few of our neighbors who have kids around Caleb's age so he was able to have quite a few kids at his party. We had the party at his favorite pizza place which was fun for him and wonderful for me because I didn't have to clean up :)
I did simple favors for each child...a Cars 2 cup, Cars 2 Cheez Its (I just bought a box and then put some in a snack baggie for each kid...I love snack baggies!), Cars 2 tatoos & a small box of Cars 2 crayons.
We have been doing a lot of reading. Jamison has always been a big reader (love that about her) and she has been reading more in depth chapter books. Together we have been reading The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe. After we are done we're going to rent the movie (though I know the book will still come out on top...they are always better than the movie).
We signed both kids up for gymnastics for fun:
I know this picture is blurry, but it is a true representation of how this kid is always on the move. This class has been especially good for him because it gives him a chance to run off some energy.
Before the last class one of the girls was trying to teach Jamison how to do a cartwheel. It was so sweet :)
On Saturday we met up with Rondell's cousin and her two boys to go bowling:
I'm not a fan of bowling, but Rondell loves it & the kids had a blast!
Keeping up with my quest to PURGE, we cleaned out Caleb's room over the weekend. I now have a box of toys/books/puzzles to donate.
I was so proud of my little guy who helped during the entire process. Here he is putting all of the Sorry pieces into a baggie. Have I mentioned how I love baggies?
So, what's goin' on in your hood?

Girl. Baggies are the bomb! I use them for everything. Great pictures! I love bowling, but I always get really sore and stiff afterwards. Maybe I'm getting old...
Woohoo for purging!
Baggies are awesome...I just bought more today! ha! ;-) Caleb is so cute! And it's nice when the kids help clean out their things...I try and make my kids do the same when it comes to their things...and sometimes I just get rid of it before they see it, ha!
Bowling is fun...but it just kinda makes me feel 'dirty'! :-) The weather has been great here too! Not much happening at the Manor...same old stuff! {however, stop by...I'm going to give away a $10 girft card for my Blogoversary! I kind of kept it on the downlow because I know I haven't been around the blogs lately... But I would love for you to have a chance to win!} :-)
It's been crazy warm this winter. Lil has been playing outside everyday after school with her buddy and Ellie. I long for snow, though. I know, I know, I'm sick and twisted that way. ;o)
I thoroughly enjoy bowling but am utterly terrible at it. But, who cares? At least I have fun. :o)
And, it looks like y'all have been having a blast! Congrats on the purging going so well. :o)
I'm not a big bowling fan either. I'll go and watch, but that's about all :)
And I love baggies. Love. Quick.Easy.Organization. What's not to love?
Boy you have been having some fun! I love the birthday pic:) Caleb's cake looks so yummy! Yay for gymnastics. My boys all took classes when they were little and they LOVED it...and my gym pictures were always blurry too!
I love that B/W pic of Caleb with the colored cake. Love.
As you know, I've been in the purging/organizing mood as well. :)
Cuties doing gymnastic!!
We have snow in the forecast for tomorrow and I really hope we get some!!
You are taking some really good pictures! Looks like y'all are having some fun times ;)
