UPDATED: Thanks to all of you who have commented so far. That's why I love you all, you are all so sweet. I want to add that I also don't mean when people go a time period without comment, life gets busy...but just those that I read that NEVER, EVER comment back to me.
Do you ever want to tell any bloggers that come by your blog that you're just not that into them? I don't, but I feel sometimes like people want to say that to me. There are a few blogs that I read because I like them and I comment a lot but they NEVER comment back. And I don't mean the blogs that have like 1000 followers, that I understand. Do I stop reading them...would you? Is that their way of saying "I'm just not that into you" and I should get the hint?
Just wondering.
I know, I'm such a girl!

Thank you for the honesty and I love the heading it just gave me a laugh.
I know what you are meaning about commenting. Sometimes you get so use to people stopping by you think something is wrong we you don't see them in a while. I guess it is a total girl thing.
I personally try to keep up with the gals that comment on my blog often. Otherwise blogging starts turning into a job.
Thanks so much for sharing and being so open and honest. Have a great day!
ha ha! I say read the blogs you like and comment as often as you like...but if you don't get those comments back, I take it as they are busy, don't have anything to say...but still stop by and check out your blog! I'm guilty! I read other blogs but don't always leave comments...but they do leave me comments more often than I do to them...it can become a job and I just want to have fun! I don't take anything to heart! It was meant for my family anyway, that's all that matters :) Just have fun! It's so hard to read some people from the internet, so I wouldn't take anything too personal! {I obviously like to comment! LOL!}
I'm with Miller racing Family...what a great title! I try to get to so many blogs to reply and if I comment on every one, I end up not getting any of my "real" work done. If someone comments on my blog, you can bet I'll be back to comment on theirs! It is a girl thing, but I do think the blogger guys out there feel the same, too.
Hi there Kelli . . . I hope I am not one of those! I love reading your blog. I too know that feeling that you are talking about though!
Hugs
Oh, your title made me laugh, too! I try hard to keep up with everyone - I'm just not doing a very good job of it this summer - I haven't had much time at all. :) I hope I get more blog time when school starts back!
Wow. Well this one touches home AND makes me feel super guilty. I used to respond to EVERY single comment, and email. Lately, I have to admit that I have been slacking.
Mostly because I stopped doing it as I read them. Also, I tend to not reply when people don't have their profile set to have their email address available in the comment. In other words, I tend to not reply when they're 'no-reply comment'.
I have stopped following a couple blogs because I specifically asked them questions and they would never even acknowledge me.
I TOTALLY know how you feel! Some blogs I really love to read but when they don't EVER write me back, it stings a little. And I think to me that is because I feel like the blogging world is like a blog family bascially. We know lots of things about each other. I like to be inspired and encouraged by other Mom's and hope they feel the same way about my family as well. I have been thinking the same thing though!!!
My computer has been acting weird though and gets frozen on some blogsites that have a ton of buttons and music and such -some of my favorite blogs. I feel bad about not responding to some of those people that try to write to me and I can't write back, because my computer freezes!
hehe So I had just wrote on your blog and thought I should moderate my comments and there you were! Thanks for the comment!
Funny title Kelli! I hope you know that I love you and your blog. I think you are the best!
XOXO

I know how you feel! I have some IRL friends that read my blog and hardly ever comment! I think sometimes people read and just don't have the time to comment. I know sometimes I read a few post quickly and think I'll come back and comment later...and then I just never make it back to comment!
I'm so new to blogging that I didn't even know that I should reply back when people comment. I just smile and think how nice it was that they read my stuff :). Never really crossed my mind... not that I don't ever comment... because I do. But only if I have something sort of specific to say (like if something I read triggers a memory or makes me smile especially big). Now I'm going to be paranoid :)!!!!
I have to admit that was so good about commenting! I felt like it was courtesy! BUT then I just got so busy with all the work my blog generated! I have felt guilty for so long about this! I'm trying to take a day every couple of weeks and comment on everyone's blog that has commented on mine! "Trying" is the key word! But honestly, I get over a thousand visits a day and check out how many comments I get?!
Don't take it personal. I use to get upset when I first started blogging and people didn't comment after I commented. I can assure you that they visit your blog even if they don't make a comment!
btw - thanks for visiting! All of my boys have incredible speech delays. And two have other delays that are just trying to mask a bigger issue. I was just having a moment - ha! I'm sure you can relate!
You are so funny. If you like the blog - read it. That's how simple I think of it.
Haha! I can totally understand. I feel like people get bored/don't like my blog when they don't comment too. I will say that I'm sometimes guilty of not leaving comments myself. :)
Just now catching this...Girl, I know what you mean...There are several blogs that I visit that never comment even though I comment on their's...Not just talking about the ones with hundreds of comments either.
Do I stop visiting theirs? Well, yea, I have and will. I don't necessarily want them visiting on my blog and commenting but dang it if I am nice enough to comment at least stop by and thank me! (at least this is the way I feel) I try very hard to thank my new commentors the first day they comment if not, I do promise it does get done. I really just feel like it's common courtesy.
Definitely don't take it personally. When you leave some one a comment, it's a blessing to them regardless of whether or not they awknowledge you.
It hard not to get sucked into the blogger popularity contest, but you have your blog for you and if other people like it that's great. If not, you still have wonderful memories of where you are and where you've been.
Who knows, maybe they don't comment because they have a little one begging them to read "Good night moon." I better go!
Katie
I just recently started following your blog. I might not have left a comment yet, but I do like your blog.
I was going to comment to ask you to help me know how to join in on the Friend Makin' Monday. I tried last night, but wasn't sure what to do to get the links to all work, and I wasn't going to make it on Monday.
I was lovin' all the ideas that were being shared!
No, I totally understand what you're saying. It especially bugs me if I comment in detail and they don't acknowledge or come and visit me. I don't necessarily feel like they need to respond via email, but isn't it polite to at least come by and visit their blog?
I try to go and check out everyone's blog who leaves me a comment. Some times I can't do it at the time and then I forget about it, but if they've made multiple comments I jump through hoops to go and visit.
I think as moms, we just get busy. I do try to comment as often as possible. Sometimes I only have time to update my own blog and maybe catch few friends' blogs, but it all depends on time.
Thanks for being an honest blogger and sharing what's on your mind. What an interesting topic.
And just so you know, I haven't been able to access your blog for the past two weeks. Any idea why? Have others had this problem? Your heading and sidebars come up, but the updated content doesn't pop up. Well, it did today. =)
Kelli, I love how honest you are! I guess I just read the blogs I love (yours being one of them!), but that doesn't mean that those people will actually enjoy reading mine or will want to comment on what I have to say. I blogged for so long before anyone left comments, so any comments I get are like gifts!
