miscellany monday

1.  I love the Christmas Season...like could listen to Christmas music all year long kind of love.  I just love the warmth and the family togetherness that the season brings.  It, of course, is so much more than that, but that's a post for another day.  I do try and save our festivities until after Thanksgiving, but the other night we decided to pull out How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  Jamison has the book so she decided to read along.
2.  So...who's into Twilight?  I saw Breaking Dawn Part I on Saturday and it was really good.  I tried to finish the book before seeing the movie, but I was not successful.  Luckily this was only Part I so I am not too far behind.  Did you see it?

3.  This is totally random...why is it that I can only use McDonald's ketchup when I eat McDonald's fries?

4.  I talked last week about the things I need to do for Thanksgiving.  I got a few things done over the weekend, like cleaning out the fridge, making the detailed shopping list & organizing my containers.  Tomorrow I'll go over my list and revise it...I love a good list you know :)

5.  My brother Evan was in town for a party and yesterday he stopped by to see us.  My kids love him and he loves them just the same.  He also got to meet a few of my friends and I am always impressed by how personable he is.  I just love this guy :)

Stop by Carissa's and share your random!

Well hello Miss Kelli!! I have not been around in awhile - so sorry - time gets away from me.

I can't eat McD'S ketchup on anything but their fries either - so weird!!

The Christmas season is the best! I was just breaking out my fresh balsam candle :). I haven't seen any of the Twilight movies yet, but I should start catching up. Breaking Dawn was my favorite book in the series. And, although it's not even 9 am yet you made me want McDonald's fries and ketchup. I don't even know how long it's been since I've had those!

Stopping by from MM. So nice to meet you. What a lovely family you have.

I, too, love Christmas and will begin decorating on Friday. I've been listening to Christmas music about two weeks.

Blessings to you for a wonderful Thanksgiving week.

seriously, the ketchup packet ketchup is way better than the kind we have at home! it must have to do with extra preservatives or something.

my kids have watched the Rudolph movie five times already. it's going to be a long Rudolph season. ha!

I am loving the holiday season too. I just am itching to get it all together right now! My girls love their uncles too. Something really special. Breaking Dawn. I need to see it since I saw the others and read the book. I think I read 3/4 of the way and gave up. Not my favorite of the books but I will see the movie. Team Jacob, by the way! :)

The ketchup thing is cracking me up! We've brought McD's home before and the fries just taste weird with the ketchup from our fridge!! I am waiting until next week to do anything Christmas...I hate the we are slowly skipping right over Thanksgiving!

We have already gone all Christmas in our house...it gets earlier every year...but we don't host Thanksgiving and travel over Christmas, so I'm okay with it! And our tradition is to watch The Grinch Thanksgiving night! We love it, can't wait! ;-)

I love the pic of Caleb and your brother, so sweet! You two look so much alike!

Have a great THanksgiving, I know you'll make your list and have it all checked off! :-)

We pulled out "A Christmas Story" and "Christmas Vacation" early this year. The other movies need to be making an appearance as well. :o)

That photo of your brother and Caleb is priceless! :o)
