miscellany monday

Hello Friends & Happy Monday!

1.  Did you all have a good weekend?  I did, but forgot my camera for each event...sigh.  Jamison ice skated for the first time this weekend at a birthday party.  Initially she was scared and actually got off the ice and took off the skates.  But minutes later she decided she was going to try again...I was SO proud of her.  She made it all the way around the rink (holding on for dear life) and she was really excited.  She was an inspiration to me to get back out there and try...even if it's hard.
2.  Are any of you Blogger bloggers using the new interface?  I have tried to use it a few times and can't quite figure it out.  I usually read blogs from my dashboard and for some reason I can't seem to figure out how to scroll down to see all of the blogs that I follow like I can on the current dashboard.  If you have any tips feel free to pass them along.

3.  I love a full moon...it is so captivating.  I was able to capture last week's full moon with my camera.
4.  This is on my Christmas list this year...I have always wanted it and can't believe I do not have it.

5.  Look what I got to play with over the weekend:
My new Erin Condren planner arrived last week and I could not be happier.  I was actually able to get it for only $20 because Plum District was having a special where you bought a $50 voucher for only $25...and because it was my first purchase I got an additional $5 off...SCORE!

I got a chance to transfer a lot of my plans from the old planner into the new planner.  I was in my happy place.
I like the new tabs so far (even though I have heard that they are not as sturdy as people would like).
I also like this new feature of a notes page at the beginning of each month.  I have started planning my Thanksgiving dinner on November's page.
This back page is something that I'm really excited about.  The one thing missing for me from this planner was an extended calendar view...and now it's included!

Well I am off to work on my To Do list :)

Very cute planner! I love how you use so many colors to write in your events. Cheerful! Perhaps a planner this lovely would be able to entice me away from using my iPhone and back to good old pen and paper...

That planner is AWESOME! I think I need something like that for next year...I have been so scattered lately! And your handwriting is so pretty! Mine looks like chicken scratch:) I've been using the new interface for a while. It took some time to get used to, but I like it now. To see the rest of the blogs, you scroll down to the bottom and click View More.

When I get one of those planners, you had best be nearby so that YOU can write everything down for me. I can barely read my scrawl, and your handwriting is just gorgeous.

And, speaking of gorgeous, your Jamison is a knock-out. What a beautiful child. :o)

That moon shot is stunning as well.

Oh, and I can't believe you don't have that album yet. I ADORE it! Lil has been listening to it for close to two weeks now. ;o)

What a beautiful full moon picture! I must say, the hype around the Erin Condren planners is warranted. I really like mine too. The only thing is that I kind of wish they were only for one year because they're so big and thick- hard to carry around in my handbag!

LOVE your planner! I desperately need a good one for next year. I have a little pocket planner that I keep losing, which is quite irritating. :)
Lovely pictures!

we love a Charlie Brown Christmas! I just bought a book for the kids that has buttons to push as you read the book :-) I think we have the movie, but now I'm not so sure! I think we usually watch it on tv every year! That is a beautiful planner!!! I love it! It almost makes me want to get organized! ha! But I'm not sure I will ever get there! :-) And Jamison has the most beautiful eyes ever! So proud of her for trying again! And I love your shot of the moon! I can never get a good pic with my camera, it looks amazing! ;-)

Loving Jamison's eyes as always! She is just gorgeous!!

I have been ice skating one time so I know the whole holding on for dear life around the rink thing. ;-) It's hard! Heck, I can't even skate as it is let alone glide along on a blade. I don't see how people do it!

I know that you are loving your new planners as much as you like to plan out and have lists with organization! And I have to say it's fun to have something cute to keep all that in. Love the planners, they are so cute!
