Recipe Binder Challenge!

Toni has another challenge that is just what I need...making a recipe binder.  Just like how I had been wanting to create a Home Management Binder (here) for a long time, I've wanted to create a recipe binder as well.  I have recipes all over the place...printed sheet from the web, recipes that people have written down for me, various recipes cards and it's time to put them all in one place.  A while ago I made a binder for all of my Kraft Food recipes and I love it (you can see it here).

So, I need to come up with my catagories.  I'm thinking of:

Appetizers (because I love my appetizers)
Breakfast
Bread
Sides
Pasta
Soup
Crock Pot
Mexican
Pizza
Cakes
 Cookies
Pies

I'm also going to have to come up with a cute cover...maybe make a picture collage of different recipes that I've made.

I'll be working on this all week and will probably post about it on Saturday (ooh, another weekend post...I'm living on the edge!).

LOL! You rebel you, posting on the weekend. ;o)

I have a recipe binder my MIL gave me when I was first married. She had put all B's favorite recipes in it for me, and it's where we write down all our favorites. :o)

I can't wait to see what you come up with! :o)

I am so lazy about recipes! I have a few books that I use and a couple of printed recipes that I store in a box. I can't wait to see how your binder turns out!

I just shove mine in a box. LOL I am so bad with this. I need to do better for sure in the kitchen. Good luck.

My comment just went into cyber space. Hmmm.
I just shove my recipes in a box or still use the cook books. LOL
Can't wait to see yours.

This is a great idea and one that I really need to do. I have started so many times trying to organize my recipes and get nowhere quickly.

Mine is a mess. I keep printing off recipes and just shoving them in there willy nilly. Good luck! Perhaps you can inspire me to do better. :)

(I tagged you in a meme...)

I organized my recipe binder a year or so ago, and it made me feel like a new woman. I love flipping through recipes and getting to the recipe I want with ease :) Good luck!!

Fun! I've always wanted a recipe binder. Guess I would need some good recipes first. ;)

I've had so much fun catching up on your blog Kelli! As far as the to nap or not to nap...that stage is so hard! I always go for get rid of the nap. I drop them early because my evening time is so precious to me. It's tough to deal with them from 5:00 on, but I put them to bed around 6:30 and then it's so nice to have the evening time.

And I am so with you on the sushi! Kenny loves the stuff but I hate it! YUCK! Good for you for trying it though! :)
