miscellany monday, er Tuesday...

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

 1.  Where does the time go...it's already Tuesday and I missed posting yesterday.  All weekend I thought about my post for mm but never got around to putting it together.  Sunday Rondell and I were able to spend the entire day together because the kids were with is mom/stepdad until yesterday.  We made lunch (I even made my own taco seasoning) and caught up on our shows...we are SO behind on shows right now.  It was nice to be able to hang out with my favorite guy.

2.  Snow, snow go away...and it would be OK if you didn't come back.  Yesterday started off as a rainy day and ended with ice and snow.  I should be used to this since I've lived in Ohio all of my life but every year about this time I get overly anxious for Spring.  The weather was so nice last week and it was so nice to get outside and enjoy some fresh air, but now we're back to big coats and being trapped inside.  Come on Spring!

3.  Late night TV...I've realized something about myself.  I have to find a show to turn on before I go to bed.  The strange thing about that is that I know I'm not going to watch it because I'm going to sleep so why does it matter what's on the TV.  But still, every night I look for something on the TV guide to "watch" before going to sleep.

4.  Pushing through...Lately I've had a hard time going to BSF on Monday nights.  I have missed a couple of nights in the past few weeks and that's not like me.  Maybe it's because of the cold weather or just being tired at the end of Monday.  Last night was just as hard, but I got encouragement from my Jamison to go.  She told me that it's important for me to go and learn more about God.  Truth spoken from the sweetest source.  Once I was there, at BSF, it was wonderful...discussing His Word and bonding with other women.  I thank God for using Jamison to motivate me to push through :)

Hi Kelli. Glad you got to spend some alone time with your man! Isn't that the best?!

I was wondering where you were. :o)

Isn't alone time the best? I haven't had that with B in FOREVER--since before Beanie was born. Sheesh.

I can imagine you all are DONE with the snow. I'm sorry. It got cold and rainy again here too.

There's nothing ON late night TV, lol! ;o)

I'm glad you are pushing through. Sometimes it's REALLY hard to do those things we KNOW we SHOULD be doing.

Spring is here in MS so if you are sick of the snow you could always come visit me:) We have had temps in the 70's for the past week! I'm so glad you had a good time at BSF last night...I have been having a hard time getting motivated for my Beth Moore study this week too!

So sweet of Jamison to remind you! She is so right. We all need to learn more. :-)

Snow, ice?! What? Wow, I should send the memo to Mother Nature to send some of our Spring up your way. This tree pollen is killing me!!

I get behind on my shows as well. I was 3 weeks behind on Top Chef, it took everything I had not to find out who was voted off. Luckily I got caught up this past weekend.

It sure feels like a Monday...
I love J and that she encouraged you to go. That's awesome.

I think everyone was having a slow bloggy day yesterday.

I love when I get to sit down and catch up on my shows. I did a little of that myself on Sunday night.

Hope you're having a good week so far!

My kids tell me things like that all the time...it makes me feel bad...but then I feel good because you know you are teaching them well and they are looking out for their mommas :-)

It rained entirely all day yesterday here too and now it's cold and wet...so ready for Spring!

I always 'watch' tv before bed too...even though I'm dead tired! It's just my time to sit and 'veg' and think about nothing I guess! ;-)

Yay for alone time with hubby! I do the exact same thing with the tv except I usually land on the Food Channel because there is nothing on that late at night :) What a darling Jamison is...you are very, very blessed, my friend!
