To Do Thursday!

Don't you love my new To Do Thursday button. I love post its so this is perfect (thanks Joanna).

I feel pretty good about the progress that was made this week. Everything didn't get done, but no one is perfect, right? This listing is really helping me get organized and even led to me changing up my blog a bit (read about that here).

1. Make a new recipe - DONE. I posted the recipe yesterday for the Pizza Pop Up (here).

2. Clean out Caleb's room - Semi-Done. I did go through all of the kids' clothes and put clothes to be donated in a bag (I added to the one I already had) and put their Fall/Winter clothes in a bin. Rondell did bring home boxes for me (thanks Ron) so now I have to tackle the closet and pull out all the toys to be donated.

3. Take pictures of my progress - DONE. I took pictures of Caleb's room on Wednesday (here) and below you will see progress of the yard.

4. Start working on the neglected side of our house - DONE. The weather has been beautiful this week and we were able to get out and get some things done last night. Here are some pictures:

Here's where the water hose connects on the side of the house. There were weeds galore and an old hose holder thingy. You can see in the bottom of the picture that we have a holder where we can wind up the hose...nice. You can also see in this picture that the bushes are out of control.

Here's another area on the side (eek, eek, eek!). Do you see all of the weeds and how big they are...crazy! Then there were some cement pieces on the ground...I'm not sure what that's from.

Look at the size of this thing...so sad...so neglected.

All cleaned up...so much better. We did a lot of digging and pulling and Rondell trimmed all of the bushes. We are probably eventually going to pull some of the bushes out and plant day lilies on the side...I {heart} day lilies.

The area by the hose...goodbye weeds. We also removed the old hose holder.

I throw this picture in just to show you that I don't neglect the entire yard (even though the sun has really dried out our mulch).

5. Use my new Cricut cartridge - NOPE! I will add it to this week's list.

This Week's To Do List

1. Finish Caleb's room. I need to clean out the toys in the closet, box them up and donate them to my church. I also need to bring up some of his cars so he can have things in his room to play with. Who knew such a little space for a little person would have so much stuff?!

2. Use my new Cricut cartridge. I still want to make binder covers for my BSF notes.

3. Make hummus.

4. Clean up the upstairs hall. It has become a bit of a dumping ground with all of the cleaning but it's getting too cluttered and needs to be brought under control.

5. Figure out the cards to make for my workshop and start cutting what I'll need...it's TWO WEEKS away.

You got a ton of stuff done last week! The yard looks great! Good luck making hummus....I tried to last summer and what I ended up with smelled like feet and wasn't edible:)

That is awesome. Good for you getting the yard work done. I hate yard work, but the finished product always makes it worth it.
Yum to hummus.

Girl...I have the TWIN of that weed in my garden in the back of my house, I swear...it's so huge I'm ready to give it a name and just keep it. I have to take a picture of it now, just to show you. You got a LOT done this week Kelli, good for you!

Looks like you got a lot of work done. I like you had to work in the flower beds this week. They were covered in weeds which really made me mad as I had just done this task a month ago. But I got all the beds taken care of and though they look great, I am now covered in bug bites. Oh the joys of gardening.
Have a fabulous day!

Kelli you are an inspiration. I think you accomplished a great deal this week. You should stand back and be very proud of that.
