Whew, That Was a Close One!

So, yesterday I was taking pictures of a card that I made (I'll show it to you after I send it) and all of a sudden my LCD screen went black and said "change batteries." So glad that happened after the Florida trip. I would have been sad to see that message right in the middle of taking our beach pictures or while meeting of my blog friends and not being able to capture the moment. Now I need to check to see if there's something I can do to program the camera to warn me that they are running low...

Has that ever happened to you...you're in the moment of picture taking and the batteries die?

My camera is the same way, Kelli. I have a battery sign that shows the strength {in thirds}, but there's no "running low" sign. It just shuts off :)

Yes! That has happened to me...so frustrating!

You have a beautiful family Kelli!

That stinks! I have the little battery symbol on my screen all the time that tells me when it's full or running low. But mine will just shut off if I don't charge them when the bar is almost empty.

I have an extra battery that I bought and is charged and in my camera case for times just like that! :))

The battery on my old point and shoot used to die all the time. But my DSLR has a great battery life. I have let it run low before, but it seems to last a lot longer.

Yes, that is a sad moment. What usually happens to me is I forget to take my memory card out of my computer and put it back in my camera. Happens all the time!

XOXO

OMWord. Yes. It is devastating. i keep taking the batteries out and then putting them back in to see if it will take just one more. Glad it didn't happen on your trip too.
