Baptisms

This past weekend a few people in our Small Group and two children of people in our Small Group were baptized. To celebrate all of us got together for a BBQ lunch.

Here's Josh cutting the yummy smoked brisket. It is a favorite of our group and we always love when Josh makes it.

Just a shot of the goodness.

Karynda and Tonya. Karynda and her husband were baptized together...it was beautiful.

Katie (her son Gray was baptized), Tonya, Karynda, Angela (her daughter Liz was baptized) and Britney (she was baptized).

Caleb and Jocelyn sleeping good. We said they looked like an old married couple with their backs to each other :)

Here's Jamison getting a ride from Josh on his scooter.

Rondell getting in some scooter time!

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4 (ESV)

What a great weekend! Emily still has not been baptized ;( when she was born we were still new to where we live and did not have a home church...now...we do and have just let being busy get in the way! Ugh! What a great weekend! Such a sweet picture of Caleb and his friend sleeping, so cute!

Kelli, thanks for sharing! I bet Josh was the most popular person giving rides on his "scooter". Hugs

Yum, brisket! That just made my tummy growl. : )

They do look like an old married couple, haha. Of course I guess Zack and I do to because we sleep that way most of the time as well.

It was an amazing weekend for baptisms! Tatum has informed us that she wishes to be baptized so we will see! You are so lucky to have an awesome small group. I hope we can get that soon!

I can't wait until we can get that cup of coffee or pizza! Let's try to schedule that!!

How wonderful!!!!!
Love this-
And I read your comment about the book of John, and this past couple of weeks being sooo good!
I agree-I have been completely captivated, and recently asked to consider being a discussion leader...pray for me if you will-I need God's direction in this!!! But I adore BSF & studying the Bible-it has changed my life!
