On the menu: hard/soft tacos, cheese quesadillas, steak fajita meat (I'll post the recipe later...super easy), pico de gallo, guacamole and chips...and for dessert, apple crisp (you can see that recipe here).
First Jamison and I made pico de gallo and guacamole using The Pioneer Woman's recipe...here:
Robert & Amanda and baby Robert...we really love these guys. They used to go to our church, that's where we met them, but now they go to a church closer to their home. We don't get to see them nearly as often as we would like.
I was very excited not only to have Robert & Amanda over, but I was also excited because they enjoyed my food (am I the only one who gets nervous about that?). Robert had four plates of food and then above is what he had for dessert...apple crisp topped with vanilla/chocolate ice cream and chocolate sauce. I think he enjoyed himself...that makes me happy!
Their daughter Emily is about a year older than Caleb but they played very well together. Emily even came back in the door to give him another hug before leaving.

Looks like a great family fun evening! :) I love Mexican food, too. I have to say that Italian is my all-time favorite, but Mexican is a really close second.
Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! I have been looking for some good pico recipes for a while now... I'll have to try this one since the PW is known for her recipes! ;-)
