Thanking God on Friday (Saturday Edition)

~ I am thankful that I have a husband...

who will go out in this...

to shovel and play with his kiddies...

and help his Princess build the best snowman EVER!

...and then come inside and handle the vomit that came out of Caleb. Usually Rondell is at Best Buy on Friday nights but by the grace of God he was called off last night because of the snow. Whew (because as you know I don't do vomit)!

~ I am thankful for a slow and relaxing week. I'm trying to simplify my life by trying not to feel like I need to fill in every page of my planner. This allowed me to do some very simple things that I don't make time to do. I just need to sit back and enjoy my family...and do a craft/project or two!

~ I am thankful for all of you! So, I've decided to do a small giveaway. Leave a comment on this post and I will send you a few of my favorite things. Nothing special, just hello or why you like my blog. I'll pick a winner on Thursday and announce on next Friday's TGOF.

Hugs!

We got some of that snow too...but we didn't even go out in it...it is SO COLD and windy out there! Just enjoying it from the inside this time :) I've finished my banner today! Now...if I use Mod Podge on it...do you think that it will be strong enough? Dan has a laminator somewhere, but who knows where! Anyway...I like reading about all your "plans" and crafts...gets me motivated too! Glad you can relax...it's hard sometimes :)

I love that snowman.

Hopefully we will get some next week so the kids can play in it!

Have a good rest of the weekend...resting :)

Oh man! I hate that Caleb got sick...but I know exactly what you are dealing with! I am glad Rondell was home to help you out! I don't know what I would have done if Jason didn't take some of the vomit duty too:) I am SUPER SUPER SUPER jealous of the snow!! I think it may be snowing in NC when we go on vacation in a few weeks...I am really hoping we get to make a cute snowman like that:)

What cute snowy pictures Kelli! We don't have any - I kind of wish we did!

I love your blog my friend. You are so real, so wise and wonderful!

Aw, I'm so sorry about your son. Bless his heart. But, I'm like you... I don't do vomit either because I'm scared of it. Long story.

I love your snow pictures. Down south, we only get threats of snow only to wind up with lots of rain with the occasional sleet mixed in, or just plain ice. I love the snow. I hate the ice.

I'm so blessed to have found you and your blog! You've made me laugh, cry, and even ponder upon things within my own life. You keep it real and that's such a blessing to me!

God bless you and your family and have a wonderful day!

Girl, I don't think I have enough room on this post to tell you why I like this blog. I do always like the Daybook and Thanking God on Friday posts. It shows what a pure heart you have.
I love the snow pictures. I also love that someone else has their husband go out and get the mail in the snow. The snowman was to cute.
Hope you have a great weekend!

OH no, vomit!? That's my least favorite sickness too. Kudos to your husband for manning up and stepping in. And for braving the blizzard...I would have been inside with a cup of hot chocolate. I hope Caleb's better.

Oh I love the snow pictures!!! I know that sounds crazy, as ya'll are probably sick of the snow right now, but I really really wish we could experience that mess just once down here!!!!

Love you girl! Have a great week!!

I like your blog because we have a lot in common. We have boys who are the same age, and you are a crafty Christian who lives in Ohio! I don't do puke either!

Hi Kelli! We've got over 30 inches in 6 days! I'm across the Ohio/PA border just above Pittsburgh so we probably have the same snow.

Hmm, why do I like your blog? That's a good question! Probably because you and I have a lot in common and if we knew each other in person, I'm sure we would be great girlfriends!

Have fun and stay warm!
