For today...
Outside my window...Snowy, snowy. We just had our 3rd snow storm of the month and we are currently at a Level 2 Snow Emergency (Level 3 is the highest). It was a pretty scary drive into work today, but I made it safely. Whew!
I am hoping...that our computer gets fixed soon...it has a virus. That's why I haven't been around in a while...I've had no access to a computer and it's been killing me. Rondell thinks he knows how to fix it so hopefully I'll be back fully soon!
I am thankful...for all of you! Remember my giveaway...I haven't forgotten. Jenn won! I would show you pictures of the drawing (by my lovely assistant Jamison), but I can't download them to my sick computer, sniff. Jenn, email me your info and I'll get your goodies in mail this weekend!
I am thinking...about summer and how I wish it was here.
I am praying...for safety.
I am reading...Deuteronomy. It has been a little bit of a challenge getting through Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers, but Deuteronomy is a nice overview and so it has been really helpful to read.
From the kitchen...nothing planned. We need to go to the store badly but because of sickness and now the weather we haven't had a chance. I did make banana pudding on Sunday for Valentine's Day and it was a hit. I'll share the recipe I used later this week.
Around the house...I'm trying to clean and get the house back to normal.
One of my favorite things...Valentine's Day. I was not able to do all that I wanted for Valentine's Day this year, but maybe I'll catch some good after holiday sales...trip to Hobby Lobby anyone?
A few plans for the rest of the week...Clean, buy Caleb a bed (yes, he's still in a crib) and I'm supposed to go to a Stampin Up event that my demonstrator is having...I hope she's still having it.

I can't beleive all the snow this year! I'm fortunate because I work for a University and when the weather is bad, we close and get snow days just like the little kiddos! We've had a lot of snow for our neck of the woods, but nothing like up north! Be careful and stay warm!
I am shocked at the winter weather that is still lurking around down here. Right now, here in sunny FL it's 37 degrees!! Oh my. We are not equipped for this. Just North of Pensacola the other day they had SNOW!
I can not imagine what y'all are going through with the snowy mess.
I am with you, come on Summer!
I am soooooo ready for summer!!! I don't think I can stand one more minute of cold.
Have a great week Kelli! I hope your computer gets fixed - viruses are no fun!
Good luck bed shopping!
XOXO
Jen
I hope your computer gets well soon!
I too am ready for summer...can't wait. I dream about it every night.
Layla would have loved to be at your house for the banana pudding. IT is her favorite. I'll have to share my cheater banana pudding recipe. I should be ashamed of myself...it is bad.
Stay safe in the snow.
I'm thinking of summer too! Glad you made it to work safely, and pray for some nice weather to come your way soon!
I am SO thinking of summer as well-this winter thing is getting old-very old!
I'm sure that if it snowed around us all the time, I would get tired of it too....BUT we are loving all the snow on our vacation. We went up on the mountain today and it snowed ALL day and it was so much fun:) I hope you get a break from the snow soon! I have already been thinking about all teh sales at Hobby Lobby too!
First...YES, I'll go to Hobby Lobby! haha! And snow, snow here, too! We've had 5 snow days and lots of delays...I don't remember what a clean house looks like! Even with a delay, it gets my day started off on the wrong foot, I've just been so lazy lately! Oh well...we made a snowman today, have to try and enjoy it! Take care! I know summer is not close enough! {and you'll be in Destin soon, right?!}
Girl if it isn't one thing it is another, right.
Oh, how I feel your pain with the snow. They are predicting another storm on Friday. It is sad when even Trey says he is sick of the snow.
Glad the kiddos are feeling better!
We finally got 3" of snow last Friday, but it was practically gone the next day. I took pictures, but they came out dark for some reason. It was beautiful though... the first significant snow we had here in a few years.
Sorry about your computer. I hope you get fixed soon.
Take care,
Georgia
Oh, I love your Simple Woman's Daybook entries. Sweet and inspiring.
