Menu Planning Help!

I came across this wonderful post here (I saw it linked on this blog). I know that I am trying to improve my meal planning and that some of you have said that you need to do the same. I thought this was a great tool to share with you. I love how the menu is attached to the grocery list so you know what you need for each meal. It never fails that I almost always forget that one item needed to make (fill in the blank).

The kids are going out of town this weekend so I'll have some time to really plan out how I want to utilize the sheets and see what will work best for our family.

Wish me luck!

That is a fabulous idea! I am going to download it and use it as well. My menu planning is a mess. I should totally take a picture some time.

Gonna go take a peek at your link. I love planning meals ahead! We often buy in bulk...things like ground beef, which I divide into one pound portions. Some of them I freeze as they are, some I crumble and brown and freeze for chili, spaghetti sauce, etc. Some I mix into meat loaf and meatballs, wrap and freeze. It sure makes rushed days feel a lot less hectic when part of the work is already done. :)

What a great idea! I am so lazy about menu planning, and I always forget to get something when I am at the store! Maybe I should give that a try!

Oh, I love this idea -- thanks so much for the link! Such an easy thing to do.

In attempt to be more organized, I am getting a bunch of girls together on the 27th for Freezer Cooking, where we will all make the same 4 meals in bulk, and then take them home in freezer bags for a later date. Will let you know how that goes!

I am so bad about menu planning and even when I do plan menus, actually cooking according to my plans is pretty tough!

I'm going to check this out as well. I like to cook ahead and plan ahead. Tonight for instance, I made spaghetti with Italian meatballs, and I made enough to freeze a meal of spaghetti, plus extra meatballs to make grinders with later. Have a fantastic weekend to yourself Miss Kelli!

What a great idea. I try to keep up with my menu planning, but here lately it has gone so wild. So this week we are actually eating what we were suppose to eat last week. See isn't it a mess.
Have a great day!
