Keepin' It Real :)

Yesterday my friend Rachael and I were emailing about all the things that need to be done.  I told her how sometimes I get too wrapped up in other blogs...feeling like everyone has it all together but me.  However, I know deep down that's not true...and it's OK.

So, in case you think I have it all together let me keep it really for just a second...with unedited pictures and I did not even take (thanks Ron for taking these shots for me):
Yeah um, this is my craft area...it's overflowing and no fun work is getting done.
My table that I swear I just cleaned off the other day.  Jamison stepped on Caleb's pumpkin bucket and broke it :(
Fall/Halloween decorations still sitting by the front door that I need to finish putting up.
More Fall stuff...
Now I must go and get some of these things done so I can be pretty for you again :)

I cleaned up my craft room a little yesterday! It was a disaster area...I could seriously not walk without stepping on something! It didn't help that Jason had a ton of work stuff and his golf stuff piled up in there too! And you are doing better than me on the fall decor...most of mine is still in the attic:)

My post will be going up this evening. This isn't so bad, Kelli. Really. Now, just to find the time to clean it up, huh? I know that's MY problem...

Hi Kelli,
Oh how i can relate.
Sometimes I feel like there is just SO much to do and I do not have time to get it all done.
But that is the truth, it is never ALL done.
And that's ok.
So don't compare your home to others, especially other bloggers, because you know most people are just choosing to post what looks "pretty".
Hang in there.
It will get done.
Hugs. :)

it is super easy to feel that way. we bloggers are able to choose what we'll share & fluff the pillows and clean the kitchen counter before we choose what & when we'll photograph right?
& then discontent can set in easily. satan just loves that. our blogs which are meant for good, sometimes we allow our minds to twist and we start to think about that greener grass.

my floors are currently covered with dog hair & there is some weird smell in my kitchen. and upstairs desperately needs dusting.tada!

have a super rest of your day

Oh yes, we get major clutter in a couple spots at our house. I try to keep on top of it, but most of the time our kitchen island is covered in stuff. It drives me nuts, but that's real life!

That is real life around here. Alex even told me just today..."Maybe this weekend we can clean out this drawer." ha! He couldn't find what he was looking for! One day it will get organized...maybe when they're at college ;-)

I have that same pumpkin in the last picture! I didn't get much out this year either. I have a feeling Christmas will be the same.

Thank you for keeping it real. Good to know I am not the only one that has things to do around the house that keep getting pushed aside because life is so crazy. I need just a few more hours in my day to get it all done.

it's funny how we all think everyone else is perfect, when really we're all the same - messy. ha! : ) life is messy and beautiful all at once!

I feel the same about bloggers. I feel like everything is just so perfect but I keep telling myself it's not so.

I have to "keep it real" every once in a while too. I don't want people to see the perfect photos and think that of us. I like being real! :-)

I strive to have it all together, bu t it just isn't possible. Life is so hecktic and I have learned to let stuff go.

I love that candy corn plate thingy. Too cute!
